Les and Jeff Mohrfeld established foreign Auto Body in 1992.  Jeff grew up in the business.  He started washing cars in the same location in 1976 while still in high school.  Trained by some of the best craftsmen in business, he worked his way up the ranks          and became a painter in 1980.  After painting professionally for eight years, he decided to learn the other half of the business.  He took a job as a Dupont representative in 1988.  After about a year, he went into body shop management at a local reputable body shop.  From there, he ventured out on his own.  He was doing business for himself on nights and weekends, while holding a full time job during the day.  In 1990, he started looking for a location to run his business as it was out growing his facility.  In 1992, the property at 1843 W Artesia became available. With his father Les, backing the business they ventured out into their own body shop.  They started the business with just themselves and a fair amount of ambition.  Twelve years later, their crew grew to over twenty employees.  While doing mostly collision work, Jeff has never forgotten his roots, building cars and motorcycles.  They now have three locations on Artesia, and are still going strong.  The shop is a full service body shop, ranging from Detail services to collision repair to complete frame off restoration work.  With a full fabrication shop and chassis shop on the premises, there are not a lot of jobs Foreign Auto Body can’t handle.  Foreign Auto Body is dedicated to the customers needs no matter what it involves.  Over the last twelve years, Les and Jeff have built their business on referral basis one customer at a time.  Because of this clientele, they have been able to expand and buy equipment necessary to gain the respect of the industry.  Foreign Auto Body in still committed to the customer realizing that their dreams have all come true due to one happy customer at a time.
